Heavenly Father,
when your Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ
rose from the dead,
He commissioned his followers
to “go and make disciples of all nations.”
Through Baptism
you make us sharers in the Church’s mission.
Empower your disciples in the Lower Mainland
with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Fill them with courage and zeal
for proclaiming Jesus
and bearing witness to the joy of the Gospel.
May the Great Commission entrusted to the Church
find fresh expressions
bringing new life and light to your people.
Inspire many disciples to join the Proclaim Movement.
Fill them with enthusiasm and hope for
reaching their family, friends and associates
with the saving message of the Good News.
May they eagerly participate
in the available training and formation
and become ardent ambassadors of a new spiritual impulse
which will transform hearts and minds.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives ands reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever.
